by | 14 Feb, 2009 | 6 comments

The Yarra Junction Fiddler’s Convention 20th – 23rd Feb, has been moved to an alternative location due to ongoing concerns with the Victorian Bushfires. Ken McMaster advises that the 2009 Fiddlers’ Convention has been re-located to Blackwood Mineral Springs and Caravan Park site at Blackwood.

Blackwood Mineral Springs and Caravan Park is approx 95km from Melbourne and powered and un-powered sites are available.

Turn off the Western Hwy at the Blackwood exit, past Bacchus Marsh.

  • Enquiries: Phone Ken on 0419 580 642
  • Caravan park ranger: 5368 6539

Note: there is no mobile phone coverage at Blackwood so call Ken before Wednesday night or call the park ranger for last-minute questions about the site

    Hi!
I have a friend that have participated in the Fiddle Convention of this year and I would like to know where can I find images and information about the events that occurs in there. It seems that it may possible that he appear in many of the photos taken in there, as he had an active participation, and I very much would like to see them.
I have been making some searches in internet, but were not able to find anything from this year. Can you please help me to know in what sites can I find this? I don’t know if there’s a site of Yarra Junction Fiddle’s convention, where it could be possible to find this year news, videos and photos…
    Sorry my English!
    Grateful for your attention!

    Best regards,
    Sónia

Just got a reply from the Blackwood van park that it is all booked out and they are taking people for camping in Trentham ($5 per person per night). If this is not right could someone please advise otherwise. Looking doubtful that i will catch up with all the friends this year!
