WOBThe 2015 Wide Open Bluegrass StreetFest schedule has been released.

Here is a most exciting experience in bluegrass music from IBMA – Five stages, Two full days of music – plus food, arts and crafts vendors, beer tents, the exhibit hall, fun workshops + seminars open to the public, famous North Carolina BBQ – and more.

Presented by PNC Bank, the StreetFest is free to attend.

As part of the free Wide Open StreetFest, Raleigh will again host over 90 bands on 5 stages, a dance tent, artisans and local vendors, concessions, youth performances, and more.

In addition to enjoying all the great events, make sure to step inside the Raleigh Convention Center for free access to the Exhibit Hall, the Masters’ Workshop Stage, and plenty of jamming.

Of course, no festival is complete without food – the North Carolina Whole Hog Barbecue Championship will once again add a distinctly NC flavor to the fun, and there will be plenty of other mouth-watering food and drinks to keep you going as long as the music is playing.

Let Sam Bush Band take you into the weekend with a classic Flatt & Scruggs tune. Don’t forget to get your spots at the Red Hat Ampitheater to see Sam Bush Band on Saturday night. Alison Krauss and Union Station feat. Jerry Douglas play Friday night! Tickets for the Wide Open Bluegrass Festival have sold out in past years – get yours today so you’re not left out.
