Here’s the latest from the Urban Country Music Festival 2012.
We are all invited to join the May long weekend party that is Urban Country Music Festival. In 2012 they’re getting back their roots and are planning a star-studded weekend of country entertainment that you won’t want to miss.
Festival organisers advise that all the festival favourites will be back in 2012, plus they’ve made a few small changes to make your weekend bigger and better than ever. The Urban Concert Series is here to stay with two jam-packed ticketed concerts on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th May featuring entertainment from some of Australia’s biggest names in country music.
With the ticketed concerts kicking off on Friday night, festival favourite Urban Blaze Concert has shuffled back into its Sunday time slot, making a fitting finale to the Concert Series. Here are some links to the both nights:
New Home For Concerts
In 2012 you’ll be able to kick up your heels come rain, hail or shine, because the Friday and Saturday night ticketed concerts have a new home… We’re moving into the new state of the art Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC). You’ll have a choice of purchasing standing tickets on the arena floor or seated tickets in the tiered areas on the side. You can check out QSEC’s pretty impressive large covered arena at www.qsec.com.au.
Get In Quick To Snap Up Tickets
For dedicated Urban Country Fan’s, you have the chance from 9am on Thursday 1 December to snap up discounted tickets. We’re releasing a few tickets for the bargain price of $45.00 each. They’re a perfect idea for Christmas presents or even as a treat for yourself! When artists are announced in early January, we’re expecting the tickets to sell fast, so here’s your chance to get in early and secure your spot. Tickets can be purchased online at www.urbancountry.com.au, in person from QSEC or any Customer Service Centres at Council.
