The Bluegrass Standard Nov-22

In the USA, November begins the season of thanks and giving. Thus The Bluegrass Standard  begins by saying thank you for your continued support, and promise to keep giving you the best in bluegrass and beyond.

In the November issue of The Bluegrass Standard:

Garrett Newton reflects on tradition in bluegrass and Hank Williams classic country, The GillyGirls reflect on becoming a music family, and Timi Reedy recalls the contributions of her grandparents, John and Frances Reedy, to traditional bluegrass. Multi-instrumentalist (and whistler) Roy Hoffman inspires us to reach beyond life’s challenges and pursue what we love.

The Bluegrass Standard Bluegrass band favourites in this issue include Midnight Hollow, Higher Ground, and Self Rising Flour.

The Bluegrass Standard also takes a look at  Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Finally, the magazine celebrates the late Doc Watson’s 100th birthday,

This edition also features Max Wareham’s book on banjoist Rudy Lyle, and Appalachian’s natural ingredients and tasty treats for the Holiday Season.

May your November be filled with family, friends, a tabletop overflowing with turkey with all the fixings, and lots of bluegrass music We are working hard to provide both platforms now and giving advertisers more bang for their buck. Each issue runs on issuu.com and our website – The Bluegrass Standard.
