Sydney Bluegrass & Old-Time Get Together – 1 APRIL 2023
After a successfulcouple of days of Picking in the Park this month, the first Sydney Bluegrass & Old-Time Get Together is scheduled for 1st April
The monthly gathering is held at the Annandale Community Centre, 79 Johnston St, Annandale (NSW).
The line-up for the concert features special guest Murray Hill, along with his Hillbillies (Gary Brown, and Hunter & Suzy Owens). Also booked in are Tail Dust (Bruce Fumini’s new band); Richard Galluzzi; Sam Creek; Kenji Tanaka; My-T-Fine Stringband; and Dwayne Elix & Lindsay Mar.
Safety in Numbers (the Sinners) will start the concert at 7.45pm.
The program for the night includes:
- Safety in Numbers – 6.30pm – all welcome to learn some songs together and perform them in the concert.
- Concert – 7.45pm – acoustic bluegrass & old-time music.
- Jamming – All night.
- Cost – $8 members/concession, $10 others, under-18 and 80+ Free. This covers Safety In Numbers and the Concert.
- Tea, coffee soft drinks and snacks will be available throughout the night.
- Everyone who helps with the event is a volunteer (including the performers).
