Steelhouse Junkies

IBMA’s 2021 Momentum Band of the Year have just joined the team at Dark Shadow Recording.

Stillhouse Junkies, the Colorado trio of Alissa Wolf, Cody Tinnin, and Fred Kosak, has been making waves on the music scene with their unique brand of music and vigorous international touring schedule.

The Stillhouse Junkies knocked me out with their showcase in Raleigh at the IBMA convention. I’m excited about their energy and unapologetic musical presentation. There is so much creativity and flexibility in the band, I can’t wait to see what we come up with in the studio – Stephen Mougin DSR.

We are thrilled and delighted beyond words to be joining the DSR family and can’t wait to see where this partnership will take us and our music. We’re inspired and honored to be included amongst such an incredible roster of artists and musical heroes and to be the beneficiaries of Stephen and Jana’s creativity, passion, and deep musical experience – The Stillhouse Junkies.

The Stillhouse Junkies are now working on their debut DSR album, set for release late next year.

About The Steelhouse Junkies:

Born in a distillery in Durango, CO, two-time Telluride Bluegrass band contest finalists Stillhouse Junkies play a delirious, head-spinning mixture of original roots, blues, funk, swing, and bluegrass music. With all three band members sharing lead vocal and songwriting duties, the Junkies conjure a wide range of tonal landscapes that pay tribute to the iconic sounds of Gillian Welch, the Allman Brothers, Tim O’Brien, the Wood Brothers, John Hiatt, and countless others while breaking new musical ground with their genre-bending original material. Stillhouse Junkies are proud to be Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival showcase artists, 2020 & 2021 IBMA World of Bluegrass showcase artists, and 2021 IBMA Momentum award winners.
