News from Mountain Pickers Association is that it’s time for the June Club Concert. This months special guest is Slim Dime and the Prairie Kings, promising a fun night of Western Swing
Slim Dime and the Prairie Kings are an old time party band with a difference, with an energetic live show that feature smokin’ guitar twang,
slappin’ bass and all guns blazing. With musical influences from 1930’s and 1940’s such as Bob Wills, Cliff Bruner and Milton Brown, Slim Dime and the Prairie Kings throw down a huge dose of Honky tonk and Bluegrass via the Delmore Brothers and Hank Williams to create a modern blend of classic sounds.
As well as the above,it’s a Honky Tonking good time all round.
