Rolling Stone Magazine Creates New Music Form

by | 16 Apr, 2009

The Bluegrass Blog has alerted us to an amount of controversy that has set in over  an article posted on the Rolling Stone website recently. The articles comments alone are worth a read.

The article attempts to highlight the upcoming new faces in bluegrass music and provides comments by Sam Bush and Del McCourey on the five acts purportedly making up the new bluegrass music form;  Avett Brothers, O’ Death (with apologies to Ralph Stanley), Uncle Earl, Those Darlin’s and Ol’ Crow Medicine Show.

Here’s your chance to weigh into the current debate. Visit the Bluegrass Blog and cast your vote.
