Ohio County Cookbook

by | 6 Feb, 2011

Renetta Romero from the Ohio County Tourism Commission is seeking input for the development of an Ohio County Cookbook.

As part of the Bill Monroe 100th Celebration, Ohio County Tourism is putting together a cookbook that will be sold this US summer. The theme will be Commemorating our Bluegrass Heritage with Bluegrass Friends from around the world.

The cookbook is planned to contain traditional and well loved recipes, including appetizers, main dishes, desserts and much more.  The folks from Ohio County Tourism Commission would love to have a recipe from you.  Please take a few minutes of your time to fill out a recipe collection form.   If you know of someone who might also be interested, please forward the information.

The deadline for recipe collection is February 22nd.
To submit a recipe you can:
1. Request a form by e-mail or e-mail the recipe directly to ohiocountytour@bellsouth.net
2. Pick up and return a recipe collection form at the Chamber of Commerce or Ohio County Tourism offices.
3. Call Ohio County Tourism Office 270-298-0036 to request information.
