The Tamworth Country Music Festival is set for 14 to 23rd January 2022. For something different for young wannabe performers here is an opportunity to kick start your musical journey in Tamworth at the Golden Gig.
The Golden Gig, sponsored by McDonalds is a new talent quest for youngsters, giving those 17 years and under a chance to perform and shine. Providing the opportunity for emerging country music artists to display their talent and kick start their musical journey in Tamworth.
$10,000 worth of great prizes to be won, including a full scholarship to the Junior Student Course with the CMAA Academy of Country Music, Yamaha instruments and more!
There will be two categories of competition:
- Artists 12 years and under, and
- Artists 13 to 17 years old.
