National Songwriting Comp Seeks Bluegrass Entries

Here’s some news on the Tamworth Songwriters Association.

Tamworth Songwriters AssociationThe Tamworth Songwriters Association  annual National Country Songwriting Competition is now open and this year and for the first time they have a new section for Blues, Roots and Bluegrass entries.

The competition is open now and closes on 15th October.

Entrants can enter online via the Song Central website and more information can be found on the TSA’s website.
There is a cost to enter:

  • TSA members – $15 per song entry which includes written feedback from the judges.
  • Non TSA members – $25 per song entry which includes written feedback from the judges.

The Tamworth Songwriters’ Association Inc. is an Australasian-wide association of Songwriters. Its headquarters are in Tamworth , but it has branches wherever a sufficient number of members have been able to get together and its interests are truly nation-wide. It has no paid staff and is operated solely by volunteers. Its orientation is towards Country Music, but it embraces Australasian writers of all fields.
