While we were looking for a song to round out the new album Silver Bird, I was motivated to finish writing our brand new single ‘Missing You Blues.. It’s as upbeat as you can get for a tune about love and heartbreak. We had a great time recording this song and filming the video and I really like how it turned out. I hope you all like it too – Nick Chandler.

Silver Bird - Missing You BluesMissing You Blues was written solely by Chandler and is a breakup anthem that is sure to fit in perfectly on every Bluegrass playlist. With deep roots in North Carolina, that inspiration runs deep for critically-acclaimed vocalist and mandolin performer Nick Chandler. For the official video for the single, it includes footage filmed in South Carolina along with a performance of the group from last year at the International Bluegrass Music Association’s annual conference and convention. Bluegrass Today gave fans an exclusive world premiere of the video.

The full Silver Bird project includes a total of 12 recordings. Previous singles from the collection include the charting tracks “Slowing Getting You Out Of The Way” and “I Don’t Wanna Be Me Anymore.” The latter received rave reviews with Fame Magazine calling it “one of 2022’s best examples of modern bluegrass.” IndiePulse Music agreed in a raving review saying that, “Nick Chandler and Delivered’s new album Silver Bird is fun, poetic, and always remains musical with superb musicianship, overflowing melodies, and steady production values framing these songs in the best possible way.”
