Bluegrass radio is certainly enjoying the first single, Kickin’ Up Dust by Grasstowne. The song is the title track from their upcoming album set for release 8th March, 2011. The band debuted the single during the 2010 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) World of Bluegrass convention at numerous events hosted by Rural Rhythm Records and also during the band,s IBMA Fan Fest performance on the main stage.

We’ve just finished compiling our top picks for the upcoming ‘Best of 2010 Year’ and special edition of ‘Into the Blue and Grasstowne’ has firmly placed themselves in the line-up with ‘Kickin’ Up Dust’. Nicely done gentlemen – Terry Herd, Bluegrass Radio Network.

‘Kickin’ Up Dust’ – kicks up excitement as each new song from Grasstowne always does. Professional Bluegrass musicians – top of the line – can never be improved upon. Grasstowne keeps us deep down in the blue. We love it – Gracie Muldoon, WorldWideBluegrass.com.

The new single, Kickin’ Up Dust has been serviced to bluegrass radio and also available via AirPlay Direct. As a special treat the song was included on the label’s Class of 2010 Rural Rhythm Sampler CD that was handed out to IBMA convention attendees.

…This album features Steve Gulley and I, along with the three new members of the band, Justin Jenkins, Adam Haynes and Kameron Keller. The project will contain songs written by Adam, Steve and myself, but will also include songs by Wes Golding and Ronnie Bowman as well as other great writers. We feel the band has really started to gel in the last year and I’m anxious for the fans to hear these guys and what they can do. Steve and I are really proud of our younger band mates and think the fans will feel the energy of this band. It’s intense at times – Alan Bibey, Grasstowne.
