SierraHullTed Lehamnn has posted a preview of the John Cowan and Sierra Hull Christmas concert to be held on Saturday, December 12th at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, MA.  It promises to be a great time.  Check out Ted’s blog for further information.

Sierra Hull at the age of 13 came to prominence as an extraordinarily talented young mandolin player with great promise. John Cowan of course came to prominence  as lead singer for the New Grass Revival in the  1970’s.

Sierra will open for Cowan with the Cowan band serving as her back-up band. This opening set will feature Sierra Hull playing her music, perhaps from her CD ‘Secrets’ with Cowan singing with her. Cowan is then scheduled to present his Christmas program featuring material from his newly released Christmas CD ‘Comfort and Joy,’ which, according to him has had a strong response from traditional Cowan fans as well as people less familiar with his music – Ted Lehmann
