Dailey and Vincent

News just in from the Dailey and Vincent camp is that Jesse Stockman has been ordered to stay away from the fiddle.

Sawing on a fiddle every day, while bringing joy to the soul, is not without its physical risks.  Dailey & Vincent’s fiddler Jesse Stockman is currently under doctor’s orders to take a temporary break from all playing, the result of aggravating a previous wrist injury through overuse.

“I’m so disappointed that I can’t be getting on that bus and hitting the stage every night, but the best way to get back out there is to listen to my doctor and take it easy for now – Jesse Stockman

“Jesse has been such an important part of the band since the very beginning. We’re going to miss him while he’s healing, but we know that it’s what’s best for him – Jamie Dailey.

We ask for everyone’s prayers for Jesse’s quick recovery so that he’ll be back out with us soon.  In the meantime, B. J. Cherryholmes will be filling in on fiddle, and we’re thankful that he was willing and available to help us out – Darrin Vincent.

Dailey & Vincent will headline Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman with Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers on Thursday, 21st July.  For additional news and tour updates, visit www.daileyvincent.com.

Saw BJ play with them on the 28th at the Georgia Mountain Fair and he looked like he’d been playing with them from the beginning. Was sorry to see that Jesse wouldn’t be playing, but BJ was definitly a worthy fill-in.

How do we get them to tour Australia?
