It seems that everyone is currently celebrating their IBMA award nominations. Why not? These award nominations are the greatest recognition one could receive from an industry of peers, professionals and fans. Rounder Records is celebrating their list of nominations and again, why not? Rounder has an impressive list of award winning bluegrass artists in their line up. They have earned multiple nominations, receiving 3 out of 5 nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Bass Player of the Year and sweeping the entire category of Best Graphic Design. Alison Krauss & Union Station and Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers received 5 nominations apiece with the latter up for Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year for Rare Bird Alert.
