Dale Ann Bradley 2009’s IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year

Compass Records release this week announced that Dale Ann Bradley is the recipient of the IBMA’s 2009 Female Vocalist of the Year award. After being nominated for several years in a row and finally clinching the award in 2007 and 2008, Bradley is overjoyed to be honored by her peers three years running.

I’ve always been elated to be in the final nominees for female vocalist, and I so much cherish the fact the bluegrass fans have given me this honor for the past three years. I hope to continue to perform and record songs that folks can relate to and draw strength from – Dale Ann Bradley

Dale Ann was featured in The Wall Street Journal and Billboard Magazine this summer, was on the August 09 cover of Bluegrass Unlimited, and will be on the cover of the Nov/Dec 09 issue of Bluegrass Music Profiles.
