I Can Hear The Savior, a New Release From The King James Boys

The King James Boys have spent much of the last year in the studio working on all-new material. The South Carolina based group has unveiled their brand new Gospel single, I Can Hear The Savior. It’s the lead release from their forthcoming project coming later this year via Pinecastle Records.

I Can Hear The SaviorI Can Hear The Savior is the ultimate musical experience from start to finish. Written by Randy Fox, the composition honors the ultimate sacrifice. Featuring Randy Spencer’s lead vocals, Cole Spencer’s harmonies, Curtis Lewis’ banjo accompaniment, along with Will Hart’s mandolin expertise and baritone harmony vocals, this piece promises an emotive and profound listening experience. Sonically it also stays true to the group’s defined sound, which combines a combination of Bluegrass meets Gospel Roots.

The latest single is the follow-up to the band’s highly successful project Walk On Faith, which came out in 2022. It kicked off with the No. 1 radio hit “The Devil’s Not Afraid Of A Dust Covered Bible” which went on to become one of the band’s most successful releases to date. It topped several different charts including the Bluegrass Today Weekly Gospel Chart, and became their first chart-topper on the CDX Southern Gospel & Positive Country Chart. The title-track also proved to be a large hit for the band, spending three weeks in the top spot on the Roots Music Report charts while the whole collection spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Roots Music Report Gospel Bluegrass Album Chart.

The King James Boys are a gospel bluegrass band based in the upstate of South Carolina. For nearly thirty years they have been presenting the gospel in song. It is the mission of The King James Boys to preserve and promote bluegrass gospel music, while creating an exciting and uplifting performance for old and new listeners alike.

In 1994, The King James Boys began singing and playing bluegrass gospel in their home church and soon started traveling outside their local area.

The King James Boys consist of Randy Spencer on guitar and lead vocals, Cole Spencer on bass guitar and harmony vocals, Curtis Lewis on 5-string banjo, and Will Hart on mandolin, and harmony vocals.
