Music is my marker through this life I choose to live and this latest project is a great example of recording my journey through time. I certainly could not do the music of Donna Ulisse without lots of help from the talented and loving people I cherish. Dottie Miller and Ed Leonard, thanks for another shot at a Billy Blue Record, I love my music home and all of the hard working staff that keep it running. Jerry Salley, I love the songs we write and the quirky friendship we enjoy and will always be grateful (that) you signed me to this wonderful label. My sweet Poor Mountain Boys; Rick Stanley, Greg Davis, Evan Winsor, and Mason Nolen, you always bring your “A” game and represent my creations with such style, grazie. Cody Kilby, you are now an almost official PMB and I love you; Nathan Fauscett, you kept us right as rain; Stephen Burwell, you knocked it out of the park fiddlin’ and punchin’, just…WOW. I can hardly type the name Doyle Lawson without grinning like a Santa filled Christmas morning. The care you put into every note of my music makes me want to pinch myself all the time. You are the Chief to me, I just adore you; Lil One, Kathy Anderson, I can’t begin to imagine doing any of this without you; My darling, patient husband Rick, I need you by my side every minute to be me. You are the love of my life. Daddy, having you here with us on the Wee Farm is a gift I never dreamed to have. Thank you for always loving me. My Lord and Savior, my next breath is always Your choice and my choice to follow You makes me breathe easy while I’m livin’ large – Donna Ulisse.
