USA tour Kicks off for the Davidson Brothers Band
The Davidson Brothers are about to embark on a month long tour of the USA on 4th September. Travelling with them is a five piece all Australian bluegrass band with members hailing from VIC, NSW, QLD and SA. All members are under the age of 30. They will be flying the flag for Australia, headlining this coming weekend at the Tri-State Bluegrass Festival in Kendallville, Indiana. Other festivals will see them perform main stage shows to crowds of 3000-10000 people in Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri and Kentucky. They have been billed alongside artists such as Ralph Stanley, Rhonda Vincent, J.D. Crowe and Joe Diffie.
The tour leads them on to the Official Showcase performance at the Nashville Convention Centre. The Davidson Brothers were one of just 13 bands selected from across the world to perform in the IBMA’s World Of Bluegrass trade show. They will be let loose in a 25-minute set, performing to US Bluegrass Media, festival booking agents, record labels and the peers. Their showcase performance will be broadcast live on Monday the 28 September (US-EST) across the World Wide Web on www.bluegrasscountry.org/.
