Mutli-award winning show stoppers The Davidson Brothers will be squeezing in a smokin’ hot residency at the Spotted Mallard on Sunday afternoons throughout the month of November.
The Spotted Mallard residency is their opener for the summer festival season which this year sees the brothers play their first ever Meredith Music Festival! It’s not every day that you hear bluegrass music on Triple J, but the high energy Davidson Brothers have found friends there as well as with all the mainstream country music radio stations.
For those who have not yet had a taste of the folk/bluegrass phenomena that is the Davidson Brothers, bring your dancing shoes and be prepared to be entertained by multi-instrumentalists and Hamish and Lachlan, who were referred to by Troy Cassar-Daley as “the best young bluegrass pickers we have seen in a long while in Australia and a very exciting live act.”
Kitchen and bar staff at the Spotted Mallard have created a special menu featuring southern style cuisine cooked with bourbon for the entire month of the Sundays.
The Davidson Brothers have plenty of delicious surprises in store for listeners, too, as they’re currently testing new songs before they hit the studio to record.
You’ll find the Davidson Brothers on stage from 4.30pm every 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th of November at The Spotted Mallard, 314 Sydney Road in Brunswick, VIC.
