Will Clark

Hailing from Easley, South Carolina, in the foothills of Appalachia, Will Clark grew up immersed in the sounds of bluegrass. At just seven years old, his father introduced him to local Friday and Saturday night jams, sparking an early passion for the mandolin that would shape his musical journey.

Clark began his professional career in 2012 with the James King Band, where he honed his skills as a performer and instrumentalist. In 2019, he joined the Dave Adkins Band, further establishing himself in the bluegrass community. Most recently, he served as lead singer and frontman for banjo legend Terry Baucom’s Dukes of Drive until Baucom’s passing in December 2023, recording an album together that produced several #1 hits on the Bluegrass Today charts.

Now signed to Mountain Fever Records, Clark has formed the Will Clark Band, featuring some of East Tennessee’s finest musicians and singers, to bring his latest album, Carolina Lightning, to audiences nationwide. Over the years, Clark has also recorded additional music that continues to be available for streaming, showcasing his evolving artistry and dedication to the bluegrass tradition.

In May this year Clark released his single Battle of Blair Mountain.
