Mountaingrass 2024 Is On the Move To Bright Vic.
On a recent visit to Bright to commence preparations for Mountaingrass 2024 organisers were heartened that find an encouraging level of business and community support with the news that the Mountaingrass festival is returning to the area.
Organisers have confirmed that Mountaingrass 2024 will be held across three separate venues in the Alpine hamlet:
Organisers note that all three venues:
- have plenty of indoor space with comfortable seating;
- have lots of parking;
- are a short stroll apart, (about 150 metres or less);
- are wheelchair accessible;
- are close to the main shopping area, pubs, cafes and supermarkets;
- have additional spaces for workshops too!
At the Bright Community Hall there are many shady spots under the trees on the carpark side of the building for pickin’ and jamming.
The Bright Senior Citizens Club are onboard for 2024 and are delighted at the prospect of their venue being a part of the festival. The Bright Courthouse Theatre, as the name suggests, is the old courthouse, built in 1861 and it is now being used as a theatre. The venue offers great acoustics and will be the venue for Mountaingrass concerts on Saturday and Sunday.
Being a significant tourist town for the region there will be so much to see and do for those looking for additional experiences beyond the festival.
