Australia’s longest running bluegrass band, Bluegrass Parkway, will be performing at the Yinnar Hotel on 18th April 2012, as guests of The Strzelecki Stringbusters.
En-route from WA to the Great Alpine Pick in Harrietville, the band can expect another rousing reception after their first appearance there in May 2011, where they wowed the locals with their traditional sound and entertaining show. Of interest this time around will Stringbuster Ray Negro’s brand new Duff F5 Mandolin, hot out of the workshop of BGP’s front man, Paul Duff.
In an effort to match BGP’s dapper presentation ie: suits & big hats, the Stringbusters were last seen washing & ironing their overalls, and trimming all facial hair to a respectable length.
Show starts at 7.30pm, tickets $10 at the door. Contact the Yinnar Pub on 5163 1263 for further details.
