Bluegrass Memories Sought

by | 20 Oct, 2011

Beginning with the January of 2012 issue, Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine will begin publishing a column entitled Bluegrass Memories, an occasional series which will chronicle the many ways in which bluegrass music has shaped and altered lives, ours and others. I will be editing this column.

We all know these stories, and it is time we see them in print and reaffirming why so many people join and continue to be a part of our bluegrass community. So please let us hear your unique story. All that we ask is that it be authentic, a first hand account, include as many details as possible, and limited to between 400 and 500 words – George B. McCeney, Bluegrass Unlimited.

You can send your story via email toed****@bl************.com"> Bluegrassmusic.com with the subject line “Bluegrass Memories” or write: Bluegrass Unlimited, P.O. Box 771, Warrenton, VA 20187.

They may not be able to publish every story they receive, but if you have a special memory of or an experience in bluegrass music, this is an opportunity to let us all hear about it.
