If you are up in south-east Queensland in May this year be sure to put aside some time to take in the Bluegrass Brunch as part of this year’s Urban Country Music Festival. This year the Redlands Bluegrass Boys are presenting the entire brunch program which will be at the Caboolture Historical Village at 280 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture.
The event will be held on Sunday 6 May 2012, and run from 10:00am to 12.00noon.
Entry to the Historical Village and the Bluegrass Brunch is free.
After the festival’s big move in 2011, they’re getting settled into their new home on Beerburrum Road with plans to stay at the Historical Village and Showgrounds for a while. The festival concerts will be staged again at the new Equestrian Centre with a host of festival offerings such as:
Saturday Night Concert, Urban Blaze, Songwriters Café, Next Generation, Stockmans Arena, Bush Balladeers, Bush Poetry, New Zealand Showase, Line Dancing and Clogging, Voice of Urban Country Talent Search, Bluegrass Brunch, Farewell Concert, Busking, Dustys Kids and Country Markets
The Urban Country is growing in popularity each year and 2012 festival is going to be popular so make sure you get in early, book your campsite and tickets to both concerts, organise your friends and get ready for an awesome weekend.
