Blue Collar Dreams Released By The Bibelhauser Brothers From Their Live Album
This has been an exciting week for the Bibelhauser Brothers as they launch their new album, LIVE, to the world. A somewhat courageous act in the genre, the Live album showcases many cuts that were previously studio recorded and released, and some made quite famous, by some of the Bibelhauser twins’ favourite artists in the industry.
For their new single, they chose Blue Collar Dreams, written by Aaron Bibelhauser, which some may remember as a contender for IBMA Song of the Year a few years ago for Balsam Range. The live version truly shows the character, energy vocal, and instrumental chops of the Kentucky quartet. Along with the album and single release, a live performance video also debuted on The Country Note, in October this year.
The Bibelhauser Brothers are well known for combining twin-brother duet harmony vocals with high-energy bluegrass-country-soul sounds from the heart of Kentucky. On the heels of their latest release Close Harmony, Adam and Aaron create an experience fueled by instrumental prowess, original songs, and obscure country classics. Adam’s soulful lead vocal delivery is aptly complimented by Aaron’s soaring, high-lonesome harmony, blending two distinct voices, derived from identical genetic makeup, into one seamless force. Together with a tightly wound, experienced band, the stage show all comes together on this live recording.

About The Bbelhauser Brothers:
In addition to writing songs recorded by award-winning bluegrass artists including Del McCoury, Balsam Range, Michael Cleveland, & Dale Ann Bradley, Aaron Bibelhauser is an accomplished session musician, record producer, recording engineer, and longtime host of the weekly radio broadcast “Bluegrass Evolution” on 91.9 WFPK in Louisville, Kentucky. Sought after as a songwriter, vocalist, solo recording artist, and bandleader, Aaron has spent the past twenty years working with several Kentucky-based ensembles and hustling as a sideman and utility player on banjo, pedal steel guitar, dobro, piano, bass, and guitar.
A full-time father, husband, outdoorsman, and logistics expert who has worked extensively all over the US, Canada, and Latin America, Adam Bibelhauser also calls Louisville, KY his hometown. Adam has spent the past two decades developing one of the most powerful voices in bluegrass music, and his own style as a bassist, as well as a guitarist. His commanding presence, grit, and grace, both on and off stage are in a league of their own.
Born in Henryville, Indiana, Jeff Guernsey has been a professional musician and music educator for over four decades. Known as one of the finest flatpicking guitarists and fiddlers anywhere, Guernsey is second-to-none on mandolin, banjo, and electric guitar, both on stage and in the studio. In 1989, Guernsey started touring internationally with Grand Ole Opry star Steve Wariner, until 1994, when he went to work in country superstar Vince Gill’s touring band, traveling to every state in the U.S., and across Canada, Europe, and Japan.
Steve Cooley is another versatile instrumentalist in the band, who also plays electric guitar and spent nearly twenty years traveling the world with iconic bluegrass and country rock pioneers, The Dillards. Cooley, also a Louisville native, is a talented multi-instrumentalist and session player who has appeared on several Grammy-nominated recordings. He has been recognized as one of the finest banjo pickers of his generation and is often a featured instructor at events like the Bela Fleck Blue Ridge Banjo Camp and Midwest Banjo Camp.
