Riley Baugus and Kirk Sutphin will be playing at Radio Springs Hotel, Lyonville, West of Melbourne, Saturday 14th April from 7pm.
Support band will be Gerry Hale’s “Doc’s Holiday” stringband including Kim Wheeler and Ian Alexander.
Riley and Kirk hail from North Carolina. Riley plays clawhammer banjo and has a wonderful tenor voice. Kirk plays fiddle and banjo.
Saw and played with these two fantastic North Carolina musicians at the National Folk Festival in Canberra this Easter. Their performance was wonderful! If it wasn’t so far from Sydney, I’d be down there to see them some more times!
