I had a lot of fun shooting the music video for all dressed up. It was the first of my career, I learned a lot and I’m looking forward to making more in the future. I want to thank Sammy Passamano III for all the hard work he does in the promotion of my music. – David Parmley.

The music video is directed by Sammy Passamano, III for 615 Hideaway Records and was shot at Parmley’s Bar in Southern Kentucky and features label mate Joe Hott as the sympathetic bartender.

We had a blast shooting this music video at David’s home. With plans on starting a new video podcast series called Parmley’s Bar I wanted to showcase the bar and the space. You will also see label mate Joe Hott in the video playing our bartender and pulling off some nice acting. You might also like the seamless split screen we pulled off for the first time, I wanted to have David playing off his character role. Having both sitting at the same table playing different rolls, and I think it worked out great!” – Sammy Passamano III.

All Dressed Up was recorded at Digital Underground Recording Studio, Greenbrier, Tennessee, and produced by David Parmley and Scott Vestal. The track features David Parmley on lead and harmony vocal, Don Rigsby harmony vocal, Scott Vestal one banjo, Jeff Partin on Dobro), Tim Crouch on fiddle), Jim Hurst on guitar), Seth Taylor on mandolin and Dave Roe on bass.

About David Parmley:

David Parmley began his musical career at age 15 and by the time he turned 17, he began his full-time career as a member of The Bluegrass Cardinals. That band featured his father, Don Parmley, and David’s lead and baritone voice was the backbone to The Bluegrass Cardinal sound. During a 25-year period The Bluegrass Cardinals recorded 18 albums and the material is considered the finest to come out of the 70’s and 80’s Bluegrass era.

David Parmely left The Bluegrass Cardinals in the 90’s to pursue a solo career leaning more towards a modern approach to Bluegrass Music. David Parmley and Continental Divide topped the Bluegrass Charts throughout the 90’s and now Parmley is back and excited to be recording again and creating new music as well as keeping the family tradition alive.
