Great news for Del McCoury fans.
McCoury Music celebrates 50 years of music from bluegrass legend Del McCoury and has anounced the release of a CD Celebrating 50 Years Of Del McCoury.
The album will include 50 tracks marking Del’s 50 years in bluegrass, plus a 12 page color booklet. To top that off Del also turned 70 years old this year – another reason to the celebrate.
The CD features some 30 new recordings from his first 40 years and 18 from the Del McCoury Band of the last decade. The box set of 5 cd’s will retail for US$49.95 and is to be released on 12 May, 2009.
