For those of us fortunate enough to tune in to the IBMA Awards ceremony today which was broadcast from the IBMA website you will have seen a highly colourful and very entertaining award show. We extend our sincere congratulations to all of the 2012 nominees and to the winners.
The Entertainer of the Year award went to The Gibson Brothers and this year’s Hall of Fame Inductees were Doyle Lawson and Ralph Rinzler.

Song of the year is my favourite award and this year the Junior Sisk entry has been one I’ve been certain about ever since I first heard it; what a gem!
