The winter 2009/2010 edition of British Bluegrass News is now available with the cover story festuring Belgium-based band Sons of Navarone.
In addition, there are feature stories about bluegrass bands in Ulster, the Crocker Brothers and bluegrass humour and an article about promoting bluegrass music to young people. Tom Adams shares some memories and presents a specially written banjo exercise for Pickin’ Parlour, a recently added column for bluegrass musicians.
British Bluegrass News is published by the British Bluegrass Music Association (BBMA) which was founded in November 1990.
Besides BBN, the most visible asset that the BBMA has is its website www.britishbluegrass.co.uk . This is being made more user friendly and kept up to date. While work on this task is continuing, the site now enables on-line membership applications.
