Harrietville National Bluegrass Convention – Nov. 2011.
The Harrietville Bluegrass and Traditional Country Music Convention is one of Australian largest Bluegrass and Old timey festivals. The 22nd Harrietville (as festival goers call it) is scheduled for 17th to 19th Nov. 2011.
Harrietville generally features a variety of international acts and a loads of bluegrass and old-time musicians from all over Australia. After a number of years being staged at one of the local ski resorts, the festival recently moved camp to take up residence in the community hall and public park. This has contributed greatly to its ongoing success with improved access, facilities and festival layout.
